Since her medical graduate days, Dr Donna has developed a keen interest in skincare and aesthetics. During those days, medical aesthetics was still in its infancy.
After her medical degree from the National University of Singapore, she went on to attain a Diploma in Family Medicine and a Diploma in Practical Dermatology, of the latter which she was awarded a pass with distinction and was invited by her alumni (Cardiff University) to serve as an online tutor for their post graduate dermatology programme.
During the last 15 years in private practice, she has worked with various medical aesthetics clinics. She is certified by the Singapore Medical Council Aesthetic Procedures Oversight Committee in the administering aesthetics injections, chemical peels, lasers for pigmentation, skin resurfacing and hair removal, non surgical skin tightening treatments and non invasive body contouring treatment.
As a practising doctor in a growing medical aesthetics industry, she is constantly exploring ways to update her skills and knowledge through regular attendance in training workshops and medical conferences.
Dr Donna, as what her patients affectionately calls her, has build good rapport with her patients from all walks of life. She is receptive to hearing what they have to say and offer her solutions to address their needs. She believes the cornerstone of good doctoring starts with having an open and effective communication with the patient.
